Naiden Kostadinov is Managing Partner at Tax Compass and a professional with more than 25 years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, tax advisory, audit, corporate transactions and business restructurings.
In his work, Naiden combines in-depth technical knowledge with a practical business approach. He advises management teams and business owners on complex tax, accounting and transaction-related matters, with a strong focus on clear recommendations, effective execution and long-term trust.
Naiden is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Bulgaria. He is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and holds a master’s degree in Accounting and Control from the University of National and World Economy in Sofia.

Before joining Tax Compass, Naiden built a 25-year career at EY. He began his professional career in the firm’s audit practice in 2001, where he worked on audit engagements for leading Bulgarian and international companies.
He later joined the Strategy and Transactions practice, where he led financial due diligence, business restructuring and working capital management projects for major banks and corporations. His project experience spans Bulgaria, Greece, Romania, Serbia, Norway, Albania and Kosovo.
In 2013, Naiden assumed leadership of EY Accounting compliance and reporting services practice in Bulgaria, which grew significantly under his management. He was admitted to the partnership in 2016 and, in 2019, became the Tax & Law Service Line Leader for Bulgaria, North Macedonia, Albania and Kosovo.
In 2021, Naiden took on the role of Tax and Law Leader for EY Europe Central South Business Unit. In this position, he was responsible for the practices across nine countries: Bulgaria, Greece, Cyprus, Romania, Malta, Moldova, North Macedonia, Albania and Kosovo.
Throughout his professional career, Naiden has led engagements in accounting and tax services, financial reporting, audit and transaction advisory. He has delivered financial analysis training programs for Bulgarian banks and trainings on International Financial Reporting Standards for NRA.
He is the author of publications on audit, business process outsourcing, investment analysis and working capital management. Naiden is also a lecturer in professional training courses delivered by the Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Bulgaria.
In July 2026, following a successful 25-year career at EY, Naiden joined Tax Compass as Managing Partner. His appointment further strengthens the firm’s expertise in complex accounting, tax and transaction-related matters and expands its ability to support clients in making key business decisions.
